WELCOME TO ZAMBEZI DUSK

On the Zambezi River

Set directly on the Zambezi River, 30 minutes upstream from Victoria Falls. Close enough for easy access, yet removed from the pace of the main hub.

Zambezi Dusk is a small, family-run lodge in Livingstone, Zambia. The river runs past the decks. Wildlife moves along the banks.

Fewer suites. More privacy. Intentionally small.

YOUR STAY AT ZAMBEZI DUSK

At the lodge

The lodge overlooks a private island and the banks of Zambezi National Park. Wildlife moves freely along the shoreline, visible from your private balcony and best experienced on our included boat safaris. Many guests arrive after time spent on safari in Zambia, Zimbabwe or Botswana. Here, the river replaces the road.

Established in 2024, the lodge was built to remain intentionally small. Fewer suites. More privacy. A slower pace. Stays are fully inclusive, with guided boat cruises, spa treatments, dining and transfers arranged as part of the experience.

Our team is largely made up of Livingstone locals whose understanding of the landscape is practical and lived. Conservation has always played a large influence in how we operate, with long-term thinking and care for the land.

Zambezi Dusk suits those who prefer space over spectacle and privacy over scale.

YOUR STAY AT ZAMBEZI DUSK

A Stay that feels like coming home

Tucked away from the main lodge, our ten exclusive luxury safari tents offer an intimate escape into the heart of the wild. Perched above the Zambezi River and facing the breathtaking expanse of Zambezi National Park, six of our tents open onto sweeping views where elephants roam and the river glistens beneath golden skies.

The remaining four overlook a tranquil waterway, a haven for vibrant birdlife and the playful dance of the bream below. Each tent is your private sanctuary, thoughtfully designed to bring you closer to nature, while wrapped in effortless comfort.

Every suite, every detail, every view is curated to help you feel at ease, embraced by nature and cared for by people who treat you like family. Rest, restore, and revel in the beauty around you.

Hotel View

Zambezi Dusk is pure magic. The setting on the river took my breath away, and the lodge hits that perfect sweet spot—luxurious, but still relaxed and down-to-earth. The team made us feel so welcome, the food was unforgettable (I’m still dreaming about the Zambezi bream!), and that sunset cruise? Absolutely unreal. If you’re looking for adventure and serenity, this place has it all.
