Zambezi Dusk began as a family dream in 2024. From the start, the intention was simple: to keep it small and do it properly. The lodge was fully renovated with that in mind. The size is deliberate. Fewer suites allow us to remain involved and present.
Conservation has also always influenced our thinking. We try to make decisions with the long term in mind and with respect for the land around us.
At Zambezi Dusk we prefer hospitality that is quiet. Attentive without being intrusive. Personal without being performative.

Your comfort, our priority
Trained and attentive, our team ensures your safety so you can relax and soak up the Zambezi magic.
MEET THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE MAGIC
At Zambezi Dusk, it’s our people who bring the place to life.
Our team is largely made up of Livingstone locals, most of whom have been here since the beginning. They know this stretch of river well - the seasons, the wildlife patterns, the quieter paths.
Below are the people you’re likely to meet during your stay. Some in the kitchen, on the water, at the front desk and behind the scenes.
A LAST NOTE FROM US
A stay that lingers
At Zambezi Dusk, we don’t just welcome you to a place, we welcome you into our way of life. Rooted in family, shaped by nature, and guided by genuine care, our lodge is a reflection of everything we love about this land.
Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, our hope is always the same: that you arrive as a traveller and leave feeling deeply connected to the river, the people and the unforgettable spirit of Zambia.
