Respect and Reverence

At Zambezi Dusk, we cherish the rich traditions of our community and the wild beauty that surrounds us. Please honour local customs and approach wildlife with care and respect — together, we can preserve the spirit of this incredible place for generations to come.

Tipping

Gratuities are always appreciated. If you’re unsure about amounts, our team is happy to guide you.

Money matters

Both Zambian Kwacha and US dollars are widely accepted. Card payments may be limited in remote areas, so carrying some cash is recommended. ATMs are available in nearby towns but not on-site.

Responsible travel

We’re deeply committed to protecting the land and wildlife. Please help us by avoiding single-use plastics, leaving only footprints, and observing animals quietly and respectfully.

Here at Zambezi Dusk, you’re stepping into the heart of the bush — not a zoo. Our animal neighbours don’t punch a clock, and nature’s rhythms are alive day and night. From the call of hippos to curious monkeys watching nearby, the wild is always close. We invite you to embrace this unique closeness, safely and respectfully.

If you have any questions before your journey, please reach out — we’re here to help and can’t wait to welcome you. Let the river’s flow slow your pace, and let the wildness awaken your spirit.
